The Film

“
When our crew arrived in Kampala, Uganda, to shoot a film with Brass for Africa, we were immediately struck by the color, energy, joy, and incredible sounds that radiated from everyone involved.

Working closely with the organization’s inspiring leaders—Andrew, Ronald, and new teacher Barbra—we got a front-row seat to witness just how much joy sprang forth from these young performers and how their presence lit up the community with the spirit of song.

We were all left deeply inspired.

I thought that I didn’t have talent. I thought that I could not do anything. But right now, I am standing as an inspiration to other girls to show them that it’s really possible.

With music, you can change your life, and you can change people’s minds, showing the world what a girl from Uganda can do.
